   On college break, three young women, best friends since childhood, head to Virginia's Shenandoah Valley to seek adventure. Calista, the more serious of the three, takes the lead, bringing them to a resort where snowboarding and luxury mix together. However, once there, disappointment sets in. There's no fresh powder! The mountain isn't challenging enough for her or her fellow boarder, Sparks, an up-and-coming star in snowboard circles.   

 

   Then Calista remembers a place she had visited long ago -- Corvara, in the Italian Dolomites. And so, the adventure begins. Snowboard heaven! Sellaronda! Dolomiti Superski! There, they find the ultimate place on earth to shred and party. But they also find something else. Local folklore. Stories of the past, a past soon to burst into the present and change their lives forever.
